Technique for using Great Stuff foam on boat interior? - wood for boat interior
We have isolated a sailboat steel removable foam polystyrene against the hull. However, it does not want the space in areas long and narrow strip between the insulated wooden slats in the ribs of the hull and the hull itself, we use Great Stuff spray foam to fill this space, but ask for suggestions as to achieve . I prefer to spray before the pieces of polystyrene to replace large, as otherwise the foam spray, more or less cement the pieces in place so that it is more difficult to inspect the hull. Spraying and sculpting wet is likely to impair the insulating properties. In addition, the overflow of the court, after drying, can cause damage to our freshly painted interior. All proposals to make it an effective application of spray foam?

If I had to do that I put on paper between the sytrofoam and where the great things that happened. The document, to protect the foam and allow it to be removed for inspection. Paper tape before using the spray.

Dan
Paper contains water and help the rust> helmets will be equipped with air conditioning if you are brand-oxidized foam, and create a real problem> hold moisture like sweat hull with the temporary change> Foam insert> them removable> gave a good airflow helmet is the best>
